Rusty Stewart, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in Psychoeducational Processes at Temple University. He is a proficient and skilled Reiki Master, Transformational Breath Facilitator, Certified Hypnotherapist, and Certified Shapeshifting Practitioner. He has a private practice in Integrated Energy Balancing Healing Psychotherapy Including Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, Shapeshifting Consciousness, Body Centered Psychotherapy, and Aromatherapy. Rusty presents workshops throughout the tri-state area including Holistic Integrative Breathing, BreathJourneying, Break on Through to the Other Side: Walking the Talk, and The Source of World Peace and Joy! He created a new alternative DUI curriculum for Bucks County Council for Alcoholism. In addition, Rusty was an Adjunct Professor for Temple University in the Department for Psychological Studies in Education teaching Group Dynamics, Learning Theory, and Intimacy & Control, and currently teaches psychology at the Thomas Jefferson University and social psychology at the University Of The Sciences.

Happy New Year!
Please read this message carefully as the FREE Manifesting Community Listings are changing for the better!! Starting with my February 2005 newsletter you will have to list all of your community events/workshops/seminars/etc. manually. Directions will be forthcoming on my website and on my newsletter. This will provide more control over formatting and allow people to enter listings all the time.
It will also free me up from administrative duties so I can concentrate on my passions. You will need to put an end date on the event if it is ongoing and then re-enter it when it expires. All listings will be automatically updated as dates pass by and as new dates are added. All events will be in date chronological order.

There will be a featured article every month that will be different than my articles in the Yoga Living or Wisdom magazines. Some of the articles may be the same as articles I submit to Inner Realm magazine in NY & NJ. You are welcome to offer me feedback on any of my articles. All of my articles can be accessed on my achieved article list on my website.

The table of contents will take you wherever you want to go in my newsletter or directly to my website. Please take special notice of the free lectures and support groups that I offer. And, as always, if you like the work I do please pass it along to people you care about. I am grateful for any referrals that come my way. I am accepting new clients for integrated psychotherapy in all three of my locations and encourage people to deepen their process through the workshops that I offer.

The New Year is here! What a great metaphor for new beginnings and taking action on our personal commitments for change. I'm not big on New Years Resolutions, but I am big on taking action on personal growth and positive change. Try something new for a change. Shift from doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Your past data suggests that does not work. Learn from it. Interrupt your thought patterns. Engage in qualitatively changing your actions. Try a new structure. Create a new paradigm and pattern. The only way this year is going to be different is if you do something different. More of the same will not work! Break out of denial and embrace your Godself and co-create a new dream. Wish it! Dream it! Do it! You're worth it!

Tragedy, Insanity, And New Beginnings

This is by far the hardest article I have ever written. I am deeply saddened by the tsunami tragedy and the hundreds of thousands of people that have been killed, injured, widowed, orphaned, and hurt in countless innumerous ways. At the same time I need to remain grounded and centered in my response and aid. I see four ways of looking at this natural disaster: 1) with compassion and lessons to be learned in our oneness, 2) with horror and following other people and the media in fear based responses 3) with compassion for mother earth and her potential energetic response to the abuse we as human beings are inflicting upon her and concomitant lessons 4) with courage, love, and compassion opening our eyes to an integrated response that stops the insanity of doing things over and over again expecting a different result. I choose number four but first let's look at the other responses.

I have been experiencing all of the above responses in one form or another since the tsunami happened. However, I have moved quickly away from the horror, which elicits fear and separateness, to compassion and oneness. Energetically the people need love, compassion, courage, and strength, not fear and helplessness. Any aid is generous, but is limited in its true impact without realizing our oneness with all. Keep these “victims” in your prayers, meditations, healing circles, etc. What is our lesson from this? How has this crisis mirrored our own lives? Are we experiencing love or fear? Where do we put our energy? What are we doing to extend love when there is no media covered tragedy? Are any of us aware that since the tsunami hit on December 26th over 675,000 people have died of starvation worldwide completely unrelated to the tsunami? This is not to minimize the catastrophe but to look at how we are participating with all our brothers and sisters day in and day out. This can be a reminder to what is really important. Let our fellow earth beings lives lost in the tsunami serve a real lesson for extending love in every moment to everyone and everything. read the full article...
