Rusty Stewart, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in Psychoeducational Processes at Temple University. He is a proficient and skilled Reiki Master, Transformational Breath Facilitator, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Advanced Master Shapeshifter Practitioner. He has a private practice in Integrated Energy Balancing Healing Psychotherapy Including Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, Shapeshifting Consciousness, Body Centered Psychotherapy, Aromatherapy, Quantum Physics thought retraining, and Imago centered couples work. Rusty presents workshops throughout the tri-state area including Holistic Integrative Breathing, Shapeshifting: The Ultimate Wake-Up Call!, Break on Through to the Other Side: Walking the Talk!, Igniting Personal Power: Proven Manifestation Techniques!, Advanced Recovery: The Next Step!, and Creating Sacred Relationships! In addition, Rusty is organizing bi-weekly groups to begin in the Spring 2005 time frame. He also facilitates certifications in Reiki I, II, III, and Holistic Integrative Breathing I, II, & III. Rusty also created the new alternative DUI curriculum for Bucks County Council for Alcoholism. In addition, Rusty was an Adjunct Professor for Temple University in the Department for Psychological Studies in Education teaching Group Dynamics, Learning Theory, and Intimacy & Control, and currently teaches psychology at the Thomas Jefferson University and social psychology and psychology at the University Of The Sciences in Philadelphia.

Please read this message carefully as the FREE Manifesting Community Listings are changing for the better!! Starting with this newsletter you will have to list all of your community events/workshops/seminars/etc. manually. Directions are on my website and on this newsletter. This will provide more control over formatting and allow people to enter listings all the time. It will also free me up from administrative duties so I can concentrate on my passions. You will need to put an end date on the event if it is ongoing and then re-enter it when it expires. All listings will be automatically updated as dates pass by and as new dates are added. All events will be in date chronological order.

There will be a featured article every month that will be different from my articles in Yoga Living. You are welcome to offer me feedback on any of my articles. All of my articles can be accessed on my achieved article list on my website.

Patience and diligence are keys to our growth. As the summer season approaches I am reminded of the lazy, hazy days of summer. It is a time when we typically take time off and sometimes slip out of our positive momentum of growth. It need not be black and white. We can practice patience and diligence during slower more relaxed times so we do not lose sight of our commitment to ourselves. We can have fun while mixing in our practice and discipline. After all, we really want our stillness to be a “want to” and not a “have to.” When we want to practice stillness we look forward to it. We integrate it. Our practice no longer feels like a practice. It grows organically into a lifestyle that vitalizes, invigorates, balances, and grounds us. Everything becomes enhanced and more alive. And all it takes is patience and diligence. Enjoy life and integrate your movement along the continuum of growth with FUN! Why? Because I WANT TO! I look forward to it.

Slow Down and Listen

You may be surprised how effective slowing down can be! It allows us to become more receptive to messages. More in tune with synergy, synchronicity, and the universal divine energy. Divine wisdom is always showing up in our lives. The question is, are we too busy to see, feel, and hear? My experience has been when I slow down I notice I am being guided and supported with messages. As a result, I am not trying to do it all myself. The choices I make are more in alignment with the direction and path I want to be on. The results are not always what I want, but it seems to work out for my highest good. And, most of the time I am pleasantly surprised.

Slowing down also allows us to focus more and not be as scattered. I notice I make lees mistakes and handle things more efficiently when I am more present. Part of this is because when I slow down I take more still time for myself, which centers me. I then perceive things differently throughout the day. Time seems to work in my favor. And I'm less reactive and more proactive.

Now, slowing down does not mean stop. Sometimes we do need to stop when we have been running, running, running, and doing, doing, doing. The message is clear when we have to stop. Sometimes we get sick, exhausted, etc. But if we slow down there is no need to stop, except to smell the roses. When we slow down we are more in harmony with the energy of the universe. This has a balancing effect on our mind, body, and spirit.

So as we enter the slower and longer days of summer, listen to the wisdom the season brings. Slow down and take still time for yourself. See, hear, and feel the magical messages being sent to you. Enjoy yourself and don't try so hard. You have plenty of divine universal energy on you team. Cooperate with the energy and don't block it or be blind or deaf to it. You would only be cheating yourself. All you have to do is slow down and listen! You may be amazed at the results!
