Rusty Stewart, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in Psychoeducational Processes at Temple University. He is a proficient and skilled Reiki Master, Transformational Breath Facilitator, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Advanced Master Shapeshifter Practitioner. He has a private practice in Integrated Energy Balancing Healing Psychotherapy Including Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, Shapeshifting Consciousness, Body Centered Psychotherapy, Aromatherapy, Quantum Physics thought retraining, and Imago centered couples work. Rusty presents workshops throughout the tri-state area including Holistic Integrative Breathing, Shapeshifting: The Ultimate Wake-Up Call!, Break on Through to the Other Side: Walking the Talk!, Igniting Personal Power: Proven Manifestation Techniques!, Advanced Recovery: The Next Step!, and Creating Sacred Relationships! In addition, Rusty is organizing bi-weekly groups to begin in the Spring 2005 time frame. He also facilitates certifications in Reiki I, II, III, and Holistic Integrative Breathing I, II, & III. Rusty also created the new alternative DUI curriculum for Bucks County Council for Alcoholism. In addition, Rusty was an Adjunct Professor for Temple University in the Department for Psychological Studies in Education teaching Group Dynamics, Learning Theory, and Intimacy & Control, and currently teaches psychology at the Thomas Jefferson University and social psychology and psychology at the University Of The Sciences in Philadelphia.

Please read this message carefully as the FREE Manifesting Community Listings are changing for the better!! The listings are now separated by dated and ongoing listings. As of the next newsletter they will be further separated by classifieds. Directions are on my website and on this newsletter. This will provide more control over where listings should go and allow people to enter listings all the time. It will also free me up from administrative duties so I can concentrate on my passions. You will need to put an end date on the event if it is ongoing or classified and then re-enter the listing when it expires. All listings will be automatically updated as dates pass by and as new dates are added. All events will be in date chronological order.

There will be a featured article every month that will be different from my articles in Yoga Living. You are welcome to offer me feedback on any of my articles. All of my articles can be accessed on my achieved article list on my website.

The table of contents will take you wherever you want to go in my newsletter or directly to my website. Professional Message

In times of tragedy and loss our hearts open with grief, sorrow, and sadness. I experienced this feeling on Wednesday morning when a friend called me to inform me about our friend's untimely death. His name was John P. Owens known fondly as Johnny O. He was both a friend and one of my Reiki students who went on to become a Reiki Master with our group. His passing hit me hard. I still can't believe he is gone. He was only 45 years old.

John was a gifted Reiki practitioner and healer. He was special. He would give the shirt off his back for you. I am proud to have known him. I only wished other people would have experienced his special qualities. If I have one regret it is that other people will not get to experience his healing hands and open heart. I am grateful that I did get to experience those special parts of John.

So in the grief of his death I give him a special tribute in my newsletter to celebrate his life and the gifts he has passed on to me and his friends. One of the gifts is to keep our hearts open and let people in. Don't take anything or anyone for granted. No one knows when our time will come. John's death was sudden and unexpected. Let people know how much they mean to you everyday. Another gift is to appreciate your own special gifts and abilities. Take ownership of the special person that you are. Let your light shine from your heart and soul. Don't wait use your gifts now! There is no time like the present.

Johnny O., I dedicate this newsletter to you. There will be no article this month. Instead I publish your obituary in your honor. May there be more people that care and love as much as you. You have been a valuable teacher for me. Rest in peace my friend you certainly deserve it.

Special Dedication And Tribute To My Friend, Reiki Student, And Reiki Master, John P. Owens

Many of you knew Johnny O. He was always at the Reiki shares and open houses at the Chakra Shop. He was special. I am shocked and saddened by his untimely passing. John will be deeply missed! (Please see my professional message for more on Johnny O.)

The following is his obituary out of the Times Herald:

John P. Owens, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at his home in Bridgeport at the age of 45.

Born in Philadelphia on Oct. 2, 1959, he was a son of James Owens of Elwyn, PA and Yvonne (DeArmitt) Cooley of Cape May, NJ.

Mr. Owens has lived in Bridgeport for the last six years, formerly of Norristown, St John U.S. Virgin Islands, and Conshohocken, where he was raised. He attended St. Matthew's Grade School and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. He worked at Fittral of Conshohocken, then as a maintenance mechanic and cook for the Black Horse Tavern in Plymouth Meeting, Country Moon Tavern in Trooper and the Fireside Tavern of East Norriton. He was also a licensed aromatherapist and masseur, an avid photographer and shot pool with the Busch Pool League.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers: Patrick of Lynwood and Michael of Conshohocken; and a niece and nephew, Ashley and Michael Owens of Conshohocken.
