His certifications include: Reiki Master Teacher, Transformational Breath Facilitator, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, Release Therapist, Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner, and Advanced Master Shapeshifter Practitioner. By early August I will have a new section called “Manifesting Community Cooperation Network” on the home page. This will be a different type of link service. Organizations and individuals with similar visions of community cooperation will be invited to submit their websites, purpose, and mission to me for dialogue and feedback. My mission, vision, and purpose will be updated in the coming weeks to reflect this link service. The main premise is non-competition. This paradigm is essential to be part of this network. I am also setting up the FREE Links Page like the Manifesting Community Listings. Links will be able to be posted manually by early August. You will need to have an operating website to be able to add your link and description to the links page. This will help to keep the links page up to date as everyone who adds their link is responsible to keep it up to date. If something changes you will need to re-submit your link and description and email me to delete your old link and description.

Please read this message carefully as the FREE Manifesting Community Listings have changed for the better!! The listings are now separated by dated, ongoing, and classified listings. Directions are on my website and on this newsletter. This will provide more control over where listings should go and allow people to enter listings all the time. You will need to put an end date on the event if it is ongoing or classified and then re-enter the listing when it expires. All listings will be automatically updated as dates pass by and as new dates are added. All events will be in date chronological order.

There will be a featured article every month that will be different from my articles in Yoga Living Magazine. Please offer me feedback and dialogue on any of my articles and Professional Messages! Many of my articles and professional messages are an extension of what is going on with me Manifesting Community in the Philadelphia area. I'm asking for support, help, and community brainstorming to make that happen! All of my articles and newsletters can be accessed on the archived article and archived newsletter lists on my website. We can manifest community together!! We can experience community like they do in certain parts of the western US right here!! All it takes is vision, participation, persistence, and commitment!! Personal Growth Alternatives Healing Center Update Bulletin!

Part II is to manifest a freestanding space for Personal Growth Alternatives: A Healing And Community Spiritual Center somewhere in the Main Line area in 2007.

As I shared in my last newsletter I am looking for committed healers who share in my vision. My intention is to find a core group of people (3-5), to create and manifest the beginnings of a healing center under the umbrella of Personal Growth Alternatives in the Main Line area. Presently that area is pretty broad. There is also the possibility that this may manifest somewhere else in the Philadelphia area. Lately I have been getting visions of it happening in NJ. As more people share their ideas and intentions with me, it will become clearer where to look for space. Much of this year will be fact-finding and brainstorming, with the intent of moving into a space in 2007. I hope to have a more detailed position paper for review by late summer or early autumn. I am welcoming all interested practitioners for an open dialogue until a core group organically manifests itself. Commitment of vision and purpose is of paramount importance. We are not just sharing space and I am not just a landlord renting space out. So this is an intimate process of getting to know one another.

I have met with a couple of practitioners, spoke with others on the phone, and emailed back and forth with other interested practitioners. One person suggested getting all the interested people together like a focus group. I would like to do this later in August or September. Let me know if you are interested.

This is a community-oriented project. The goal is to start off small and grow the center through the needs of the holistic community. The core group should be able to work together in healing clients through emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and energetic approaches. We will truly focus on mind, body, and spirit. More specifically I am looking for holistic practitioners in the following categories: chiropractors, psychologists, psychiatrists, naturopaths, psychotherapists, nutritionalists, energy workers, acupuncturists, coaches, addiction counselors, etc. This is by no means an exhaustive list. All are welcome for consideration.

I am currently thinking of the center being a combination of profit and non-profit. I don't specifically know what that would look like yet but given our state of economic complexities, having both entities may be the most flexible way to go especially if the non-profit sector happens to be partially or fully grant funded. All options are being left open until more clarity of possibilities are explored. If any of you have experience in the non-profit/profit arena your input would be greatly appreciated.

You do not need to be a practitioner to participate in this process. I need to hear from as many people as possible. All voices are important! Life is good! Be grateful for the opportunity to experience the gift of life. There is an abundance of opportunities available to us if we just open up and change our perception. Whatever is happening with us happens for a reason. What separates people is how we act on events that show up in our lives. This may require taking risk and being uncomfortable. There are many resources available to us to help us see things differently and get supportive help and feedback. Seek them out. Find a community of growth minded people. Play big! Enjoy life. Never stop educating the self. Let go of all the reasons we can't. We can! Show up and participate. Give people useful feedback. Ask for feedback. Get out of routines! Try something new.

I am of the belief that we get to a certain places in our growth processes where we get stuck, hit a wall, and resist change. This happens especially as we get to our deeper processes and more "precious attachments." Usually, we have to eventually take action on changing something that creates short-term pain for long-term change. This is because everything is related and connected. It always amazes me when I change something seemingly unrelated and I then experience a ripple effect through many areas of my life. It frees energy up for other change to happen. So take a look at your life and see if there is an area that you have been resistant to change for fear of short-term pain and loss. Then be open to the suggestions in the first paragraph and commit to follow through and try something different. Just don't do it alone. Get the support from community and ask to be compassionately held accountable for your change process!

The Christ Of Truth: Jesus The Shaman And A Course In Miracles, An Inconvenient Thought

Well, here I go. I can't hold back any longer. Yes this is ego speaking, but what the hell. I've wanted to write about this for a long time. Let me preface this by sharing my experiences watching an “Inconvenient Truth” by Al Gore. The movie caught my attention. It woke me up further. And I have read tons of information about global warming, and the atrocities we inflict upon Mother Earth. However, I just didn't realize how incredibly imminent the crisis is. Bottom line: We don't have much time (thought) left! Action and change is needed now or we may be shaken off of Mother Earth like fleas off of a dog.

Now some of you may be saying, how is he going to pull this off? A Course in Miracles is about not being attached to thoughts and changing our perception from the inside out by forgiving ourselves and others. The world is an illusion. We frequently invite the Holy Spirit into our thoughts to help us see things differently. Well I just called the Holy Spirit in so this article is premised from Love and forgiveness. Bear with me. I think this will make sense. And if it does, it may be the most inconvenient thought you have entertained in a while.

Remember the commercials years ago with a Native American looking at the results of pollution on the riverbank? Remember the tear in his eye? Mother Earth is sacred to all indigenous cultures and lest I say it should be to us too! The earth and her inhabitants are not for our arrogant, narcissistic, ignorant, and blind consumption. There is a balance and a respect as many indigenous cultures experience being in relationship with everything as a non-hierarchal oneness. In fact, that belief system is right in alignment with A Course in Miracles. We are one with all our Brothers and Sisters. As I get in touch with the Christ (Oneness) within myself I can extend it and see it in others. This also means all Spirit or consciousness. Even though form is an illusion, everything has consciousness, everything is sacred. Everything deserves our Love. If I'm abusing the earth, or animals, or plants, or whatever in creation then I do not Love myself!

Think about the bumper stickers that say What would Jesus do, with reference to war? What do you think Jesus would do with reference to abusing Mother Earth? Projected fear and violence is projected fear and violence whatever form it takes. I believe Jesus would be promoting peace on earth in all forms as the ultimate metaphor for forgiveness and perceiving things differently. Jesus was a Shaman! Here is one definition of a Shaman I found online: A member of certain tribal societies who acts as a medium between the visible world and an invisible spirit world and who practices magic or sorcery for purposes of healing, divination, and control over natural events. I'd say Jesus fulfills this definition. Even though Jesus tells us in A Course in Miracles that magic is not real, he still was human and participated in ego events.

It is thought and documented that Jesus traveled all around the Mideast and Asia integrating different healing and Spiritual traditions together. He was very connected to Heaven and Earth. I perceive him as one of the great Teachers and Shamans. And I also believe he would extend the Love of God to everywhere and everything on earth not just our Brothers and Sisters. It's still an inside job, but, if we are indifferent to Mother Earth then we are indifferent to ourselves. It's time to wake up to Love everywhere. Shamanism and A Course in Miracles are friendly and compatible. I encourage all of you to see the movie "An Inconvenient Truth." It's a must. And please forgive me if the movie triggers and inconvenient thought. It's supposed to!
