I have a new FREE section called “Manifesting Community Cooperation Network” on the home page. This is a different type of link service. Organizations and individuals with similar visions of community cooperation will be invited to submit their websites, purpose, vision, and mission to me for dialogue and feedback. My mission, vision, and purpose have been updated to reflect this link service. The main premise is non-competition and cooperation. This paradigm of promoting everyone is essential to be part of this network. Abundance rules, scarcity fools!

I also have a manual self-posting FREE links page called “Holistic Community Circle Links” like the Manifesting Community Listings. Links can now be posted manually. You will need to have an operating website to be able to add your link and description to the links page. On the manual links page there will be a copy of my link that I request you add to your links page on your website. This helps by moving all of us up the list in the search engines. This will help to keep the links page up to date as everyone who adds his or her link is responsible to keep it up to date. If something changes you will need to re-submit your link and description and email me to delete your old link and description.

The FREE Manifesting Community Listings are separated by dated, ongoing, and classified listings. Directions are on my website and on this newsletter. This provides more control over where listings should go and allows people to enter listings all the time. You will need to put an end date on the event if it is ongoing or classified and then re-enter the listing when it expires. All listings will be automatically deleted as dates pass by and updated as new dates are added. All events will be in date chronological order.

There will be a featured article every month that will be different from my articles in Yoga Living Magazine. Please offer me feedback and dialogue on any of my articles and Professional Messages! Many of my articles and professional messages are an extension of what is going on with me Manifesting Community in the Philadelphia area. As I have shared in many newsletters, I am looking for committed healers who share in my vision. My intention is to find a core group of people (3-5), to create and manifest the beginnings of a healing center under the umbrella of Personal Growth Alternatives in the Main Line area. Presently, that area is pretty broad. There is also the possibility that this may manifest somewhere else in the Philadelphia area. Lately I have been getting visions of it happening in NJ. Maybe it will happen in both areas, who knows? As more people share their ideas and intentions with me, it will become clearer where to look for space. Much of this year will be fact-finding and mindstorming, with the intent of moving into a space in 2007. I hope to have a more detailed position paper for review after the December mindstorming meeting. I am welcoming all interested people and practitioners for an open dialogue until a core group organically manifests itself. This core group of people will ideally have an established client base. Other people can rent space out on a part-time as needed basis to create and grow their practices. Commitment of vision and purpose is of paramount importance. We are not just sharing space and I am not just a landlord renting space out. So this is an intimate process of getting to know one another.

This is a community-oriented project. The goal is to start off small and grow the center through the needs of the holistic community. The core group should be able to work together in healing clients through emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and energetic approaches. We will truly focus on mind, body, and spirit. More specifically I am looking for holistic practitioners in the following categories: chiropractors, psychologists, psychiatrists, naturopaths, psychotherapists, nutritionalists, energy workers, acupuncturists, coaches, addiction counselors, attorneys, CPA's/financial advisors, grant writers, etc. This is by no means an exhaustive list. All are welcome for consideration.

I am currently thinking of the center being a combination of profit and non-profit. I don't specifically know what that would look like yet but given our state of economic complexities, having both entities may be the most flexible way to go especially if the non-profit sector happens to be partially or fully grant funded. All options are being left open until more clarity of possibilities are explored. If any of you have experience in the non-profit/profit arena your input would be greatly appreciated.

You do not need to be a practitioner to participate in this process. I need to hear from as many people as possible. All voices are important! Happy Holidays Sisters and Brothers! It's that time of year again. Time to keep everything in perspective. This is a time of year to celebrate Love. Do not let the potential stress of the holiday season get to you. It's not worth it. Giving and receiving is the same thing. So if you're stressed, you are giving stress and you will receive stress back. That's how the universe works. Take care of yourself! Get plenty of sleep. Take time for yourself. Learn how to say no compassionately when you already have enough on your plate. And above all remember that you are Love not fear.

I am asking everyone to remember how blessed we are. Even if you do not support the war and the current administration we can thank all soldiers for their belief that they are doing what is right and just. They are neither right nor wrong and neither are we. We all have different perceptions of the world, values, and morals. All events are neutral. It is our interpretation that gives the event value to us. So let's put our differences aside and remember that we are all Love acting out different parts of the play we call life. We are all trying to find our way home. Love is the only energy that heals. Everything else is just an illusion. Happy Holidays!

Do We Thank Our Soldiers Or Not?

I've decided to write about a very controversial subject that has been posted back and forth for weeks on a listserve I belong to. Normally I do not respond to such subjects because so many of us are invested in our opinions and beliefs. In other words, our judgments! Now let me be perfectly clear (boy that brings back memories of Tricky Dick, another major corruption) before digging myself a hole I cannot get out of. I judge like we all judge. There is no escaping it in black and white terms. However, I am working on judging less so I can bring more peace into my life. And by bringing more peace into my life I extend more peace to others and receive more peace back. Giving and receiving is the same thing. That's the way the universe works.

So do we thank our soldiers or not? I think it helps being a couple's therapist when looking at this question. I never take sides because I can truly see how each person could see it their way. Once again there is no right or wrong, only different perceptions. My friend who posted “thank the soldiers for what?” was brave in speaking his truth. We could all practice speaking our truth a little bit more. The key is to speak it with compassion and love. My friend witnessed several attacks from his statement along with other varied opinions. My first reaction was to agree with him, but I have learned to sit with reactions before speaking and saying something prematurely.

So here it goes, another opinion. Not right or wrong, just another little self-viewpoint. I am going to do my best to couch this response within the framework of "A Course In Miracles" ACIM (Foundation For Inner Peace, 1975) and "The Way Of Mastery" (Shanti Christo Foundation, 2000). These two publications are the foundation of how I espouse to live my life, and girl, is it a challenge. A worthwhile challenge I might add. We all have choice! In Taoism we only defend ourselves if there is a direct and present threat to family, our friends, or ourselves. And if we have to hurt anyone it is with deep regret and sorrow. And if there is war anywhere in the world it is the Tai Chi person's fault because they have lost the way of the Tao or the Oneness. This means that if we have any thoughts of harm or violence, and we all have, that energy gets sent out to manifest in some form whether it be rape, murder, abuse, or a soldier fighting for their country. We are all responsible, so get over trying to be in denial about it.

Now I do not condone violence under any circumstances, neither do any of the spiritual masters. It is man and I do mean man that made dogma out of spiritual teachings to justify killing for "the cause." However, from the interpretation of ACIM and The Way Of Mastery, all events are neutral and Love is the only thing that is real. Everything else is fear based on illusion and separateness. Now this might seem all airy-fairy to some of you, but in my experience, it is true beyond belief. So I choose Love as much as I can.

I can truly say that if I were younger and drafted into the service now, I would go to prison instead. And that is a choice! If I had to kill another I would kill myself. I would not be able to live with myself. That's just who I am. Does that make our soldiers wrong for killing? No, they are doing what they have to do given what lessons they need to learn. I have plenty of other lessons to learn that may have already been mastered by many of our soldiers. There is no hierarchy in lessons. There is either fear or Love. And attack and fear is a call for Love. So I do not support war under any circumstances. War is like the movie Groundhog Day. Same result; insanity. I also do not support out troops for protecting out country because I believe our country is less secure because of the war. However, I do thank our troops for their belief they are protecting our country and doing what they feel is right. There is no right or wrong here. And I am not above anyone else because I take this stand. It is what it is. I can admit I still have murderous thoughts (projecting my anger, like thinking of giving somebody the finger when they cut me off in traffic), which means I am still part of the problem. I become part of the solution when I call in Love (or the Holy Spirit in ACIM, or the Comforter in The Way Of Mastery) after or before my murderous thoughts. The energy of Love dissolves all fear.

Even though I might disagree with the way people and soldiers express their fear (war, violence, etc.), I still have my own war going on with my thoughts. There is no difference. I'm still part of the problem and vigilantly working on being part of the solution (extending Love and creating peace). So I thank our soldiers for believing they are protecting our country and doing what is right. Let's bring all the soldiers around the world from all of the different countries home safely. Let's end war. It doesn't work. It just prolongs the inevitable. Let's also get clear that we all have choice. There is no victimhood. Victims are disempowered because they believe the problem is outside of themselves. This is never true. We are all one. We are all mirrors. And I Love you all!
