Rusty Stewart, Ph.D., ACHt., earned his doctorate in Psychoeducational Processes at Temple University. He is a proficient and skilled Psychotherapist and Energy Healer. His certifications include: Reiki Master Teacher, Transformational Breath Facilitator, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, Release Therapist, Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner, and Advanced Master Shapeshifter Practitioner. Rusty has a private practice in Integrated Energy Balancing Healing Psychotherapy Including Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, Holistic Integrated Breathing, Regression and Rebirthing Release Breathing, Shamanic Journey and Soul Retrieval, Body Centered Psychotherapy, Aromatherapy, Quantum Physics thought retraining, and Imago centered couples work. He also created the new complementary DUI curriculum for Bucks County Council for Alcoholism. In addition, Rusty was an Adjunct Professor for Temple University in the Department for Psychological Studies in Education teaching Group Dynamics, Learning Theory, and Intimacy & Control, and currently teaches Psychology and Marriages and Families Affected by Substance Abuse at Thomas Jefferson University, Social Psychology at the University Of The Sciences in Philadelphia and Holistic Counseling Techniques at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ.

This is for practitioners or anybody interested in potentially becoming a part of Personal Growth Alternatives: A Holistic, Healing, Education, And Community Spiritual Center to be located somewhere in the Philadelphia area in 2007. I have a new FREE section called “Manifesting Community Cooperation Network” on the home page. This is a different type of link service. Organizations and individuals with similar visions of community cooperation will be invited to submit their websites, purpose, vision, and mission to me for dialogue and feedback. My mission, vision, and purpose have been updated to reflect this link service. The main premise is non-competition and cooperation. This paradigm of promoting everyone is essential to be part of this network. Abundance rules, scarcity fools!

I also have a manual self-posting FREE links page called “Holistic Community Circle Links” like the Manifesting Community Listings. Links can now be posted manually. You will need to have an operating website to be able to add your link and description to the links page. On the manual links page there will be a copy of my link that I request you add to your links page on your website. This helps by moving all of us up the list in the search engines. This will help to keep the links page up to date as everyone who adds his or her link is responsible to keep it up to date. If something changes you will need to re-submit your link and description and email me to delete your old link and description.

The FREE Manifesting Community Listings are separated by dated, ongoing, and classified listings. Directions are on my website and on this newsletter. This provides more control over where listings should go and allows people to enter listings all the time. You will need to put an end date on the event if it is ongoing or classified and then re-enter the listing when it expires. All listings will be automatically deleted as dates pass by and updated as new dates are added. All events will be in date chronological order.

There will be a featured article every month that will be different from my articles in Yoga Living Magazine. Please offer me feedback and dialogue on any of my articles and Professional Messages! Many of my articles and professional messages are an extension of what is going on with me Manifesting Community in the Philadelphia area. I'm asking for support, help, and community mindstorming to make that happen! All of my articles and newsletters can be accessed on the archived article and archived newsletter lists on my website. We can manifest community together!! We can experience community like they do in certain parts of the western US right here!! All it takes is vision, participation, persistence, and commitment!! As I have shared in many newsletters, I am looking for committed healers who share in my vision. My intention is to find a core group of people (3-5), to create and manifest the beginnings of a healing center under the umbrella of Personal Growth Alternatives in the Philadelphia area. Presently, that area is pretty broad. As more people share their ideas and intentions with me, it will become clearer where to look for space. Much of this year will be fact-finding and mindstorming, with the intent of moving into a space later in 2007. I hope to have a more detailed position paper for review before the February mindstorming meeting. I am welcoming all interested people and practitioners for an open dialogue until a core group organically manifests itself. This core group of people will ideally have an established client base. Other people can rent space out on a part-time as needed basis to create and grow their practices. Commitment of vision and purpose is of paramount importance. We are not just sharing space and I am not just a landlord renting space out. So this is an intimate process of getting to know one another.

This is a community-oriented project. The core group should be able to work together in healing clients through emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and energetic approaches. We will truly focus on mind, body, and spirit. More specifically I am looking for holistic practitioners in the following categories: chiropractors, psychologists, psychiatrists, naturopaths, psychotherapists, nutritionalists, energy workers, acupuncturists, coaches, addiction counselors, attorneys, CPA's/financial advisors, grant writers, etc. This is by no means an exhaustive list. All are welcome for consideration.

I am currently thinking of the center being a combination of profit and non-profit. I don't specifically know what that would look like yet but given our state of economic complexities, having both entities may be the most flexible way to go especially if the non-profit sector happens to be partially or fully grant funded. All options are being left open until more clarity of possibilities are explored. If any of you have experience in the non-profit/profit arena your input would be greatly appreciated.

You do not need to be a practitioner to participate in this process. I need to hear from as many people as possible. All voices are important! If I do not get back to you quickly please know that your response is important and that I am frequently out of town and busy trying to answer all my emails and phone calls.

Happy New Year! It's time to let go of the old and bring in the new. Or in other words, create space inside ourselves to bring real change about. Time goes fast. The time is now! Not tomorrow, not next week, not when this or that happens. Those are all ego defenses to keep us stuck in the status quo. We must make time and prioritize ourselves. Nobody will do it for us, at least not in a healthy way. So begin to get in touch with what you really want and don't censor anything! Anything is possible if you put your mind to it and open your heart to Love.

Then commit to it totally. Find a support network and tell people that will challenge you in a respectful and healthy way about what you are committed to. Ask for their feedback and help. Do your work on yourself in a balanced and gentle yet disciplined way. Do not beat yourself up. This is another way the ego sabotages us and elicits shame, guilt, and fear. Know that you are the creator of all your dreams. Choose again! If you have the desire, you have the power! Take passionate action, be still, Love yourself and others, and your world will change in front of you. Trust your Goddess/God Self. Raise your vibration and extend joy and Love to everyone and everything. Witness the people and new things you attract. It will seem like a miracle. And all along the miracle is You!

What's This New Years Hoopla?

We're undisciplined. Simple enough answer, huh? I guess this will be a short article. My experience is that we just can't seem to do what we really want to do to create our lives exactly the way we want them. That's even if we know what we want. So we celebrate the New Year with great aspirations and make resolutions to change parts of ourselves and then hope for the best. Sound familiar? Does it work? Probably not, most of the time.

Well I'm here to tell you that you deserve more. But the process to really get that you deserve more is often painful and difficult. One way to speed that process up is to commit to yourself and ask for help. Let yourself receive. This may take the form of therapy, couples counseling, workshops, intensive seminars, spiritual retreats, support groups, mastermind groups, classes, etc. The process picks up dramatically when we stop trying to do it by ourselves. Whether it be other people who can teach us, support us, or whether we are connecting to a higher power within, we need to let go and turn over control!

It doesn't matter what time of year it is when we get the commitment to ourselves. Time becomes our motivator. Wasting time is no longer an option. Doing it the same way year after bloody year is no longer acceptable. We want more, We deserve more, and alas We Are More!! The time is Now, and We are God! I get to choose to create and be anything I want. Why? Because I can, plain and simple! We have all the data to support what we have created up to this point. Now it's time to collect new data.

So use the New Year as a barometer as to what you really want. Not as a hope you will change, but to really reflect within yourself as to what you really want to change. Then commit. Ask for help. Call me. Call other people. Ask questions. Listen. Try something different, something deeper and more profound. And get out of your comfort zone. There is hope. But it's all up to you to have the willingness. Once you turn over control, the ride begins. Try it, and experience being one with the Divine. It sure beats the most overrated holiday of the year: New Years Groundhog Day!
