ATTENTION!!!!, there will be a Mindstorming VISION meeting on Sunday April 29, 2007 from 4pm-7pm at Rusty Stewart's 23 Timber Road, Horsham, PA 19044. Please be on time as the meeting will start promptly at 4pm. We will be tweaking the vision and purpose statements above for the center and will need the entire three hours for this process. We may start the mission process. Please remember to do your own journey or meditation about your vision for the center as your input is needed and welcomed at the next meeting. A listserve has also been created for us to communicate with each other between meetings. Those of you who have expressed interest in the center by sending me emails or who have signed up at the meetings will be subscribed to this listserve soon.

Organizations and individuals with similar visions of community cooperation will be invited to submit their websites, purpose, vision, and mission to me for dialogue and feedback. My mission, vision, and purpose have been updated to reflect this link service. The main premise is non-competition and cooperation. This paradigm of promoting everyone is essential to be part of this network. Abundance rules, scarcity fools!

I also have a manual self-posting FREE links page called “Holistic Community Circle Links” like the Manifesting Community Listings. Links can now be posted manually. You will need to have an operating website to be able to add your link and description to the links page. On the manual links page there will be a copy of my link that I request you add to your links page on your website. This helps by moving all of us up the list in the search engines. This will help to keep the links page up to date as everyone who adds his or her link is responsible to keep it up to date. If something changes you will need to re-submit your link and description and email me to delete your old link and description.

The FREE Manifesting Community Listings are separated by dated, ongoing, and classified listings. Directions are on my website and on this newsletter. This provides more control over where listings should go and allows people to enter listings all the time. You will need to put an end date on the event if it is ongoing or classified and then re-enter the listing when it expires. All listings will be automatically deleted as dates pass by and updated as new dates are added. All events will be in date chronological order.

There will be a featured article every month that will be different from my articles in Yoga Living Magazine. Please offer me feedback and dialogue on any of my articles and Professional Messages! Many of my articles and professional messages are an extension of what is going on with me Manifesting Community in the Philadelphia area. PURPOSE STATEMENT
To extend Love through the holistic paradigm of mind, body, and spirit. We continuously and endlessly concentrate and focus on healing the whole person physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We challenge ourselves and each other to maximize our human and spiritual potential through giving and receiving healthy feedback, coaching, cooperation, nurturance, intimacy, support, forgiveness, and compassion with and between the center's staff, partners, members, clients, patients, and community.

VISION STATEMENT
We are a holistic educational, spiritual, and healing community center.  

We create and hold a safe spiritual and sacred space where intimacy, connection, and re-awakening flourish within the center and community. We provide holistic healing, education, integrated spirituality, and community through a diverse array of classes, programs, support groups, and events. We partner with other centers and organizations in creating a new paradigm web of non-competition and promotion of everyone! We practice, model, and teach this successful abundant financial transformative paradigm with all individuals, cultures, businesses, and organizations worldwide.  

We model and promote abundance, prosperity, gratitude, cooperation, peace, collaboration, consensus, inclusion, empowered humility, diversity, social justice, equality, holistic integration, joy, and having fun! We model environmental sustainability through our green building and environmentally conscious decisions. The for-profit part of our center is a cooperative economic partnership with a horizontal organizational structure. The non-profit part of our center provides opportunities for grant funding and other services to offer and extend into the community and financially challenged populations. Everything we do as a center is an extension of Love!

  In alignment with the holistic model practiced by our center, we serve the diversity of all of humanity and organizational structures. This includes all profit and non-profit businesses and organizations, cultures, ages, races, genders, lifestyles, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, psychological, mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual/religious or political affiliation. We are all inclusive with respect to whom  we serve!

As I have shared in many newsletters, I am looking for committed healers who share in my vision. My intention is to find a core group of people (3-5), to create and manifest the beginnings of a holistic educational, spiritual, healing community center in the Philadelphia area. Presently, that area is pretty broad. But from an environmental viewpoint it must be located at or near public transportation and not require people to drive a long distance. As more people share their ideas and intentions with me, it will become clearer where to look for space. Much of this year will be fact-finding and mindstorming, with the intent of moving into a space later in 2008. I am welcoming all interested people and practitioners for an open dialogue until a core group organically manifests itself. Commitment of vision, mission, and purpose is of paramount importance. We are not just sharing space and I am not just a landlord renting space out. So this is an intimate process of getting to know one another.

This is a community-oriented project. The core group should be able to work together in healing and educating clients through emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and energetic approaches. We will truly focus on mind, body, and spirit. More specifically I am looking for holistic practitioners in the following categories: chiropractors, psychologists, psychiatrists, naturopaths, psychotherapists, nutritionalists, energy workers, acupuncturists, coaches, addiction counselors, attorneys, CPA's/financial advisors, grant writers, fund raisers, philanthropists, etc. This is by no means an exhaustive list. All are welcome for consideration. 

I am currently thinking of the center being a combination of profit and non-profit. I don't specifically know what that would look like yet but given our state of economic complexities, having both entities may be the most flexible way to go especially if the non-profit sector happens to be partially or fully grant funded. All options are being left open until more clarity of possibilities are explored. If any of you have experience in the non-profit/profit arena your input would be greatly appreciated.

You do not need to be a practitioner to participate in this process. I need to hear from as many people as possible. All voices are important! Professional Message

I am somewhat at a loss as to what to write about in this month's professional message. Grief stands out for me because of my own challenges with my Mother, Father, and Brother's aging and declining health. It takes a toll regardless of how much work I have done to let go of attachments and "special relationships." As a result, I find myself vulnerable and raw. Interestingly, once again, my heart feels wide open. So the message this month is to find a way to access your heart energy both in and out of the grief experience. The gift of grieving is that it allows us to heal, learn lessons, and realize our strength in vulnerability. Grief essentially presents us with the opportunity to "spring clean" our unresolved grief issues from the past and healthily heal our grieving in the present.

The other healthy challenge is to keep the heart open after the grief has subsided and/or open and keep the heart open even when grief is not present. This means we have to feel. Feeling is the bridge from thought to experience. Thus, feeling is the gateway to Love's experience which is accessed through the heart. Our true power, or our infinite power, is realized when we become vulnerable and trust in the universe that all is well. It is in this place of humble yet empowered vulnerability, that we experience our divine spiritual immortality. It is in this sacred heart space that we are able to know and experience the paradox - "it is in our vulnerability that we are able to access and realize our invulnerability." This is the truth of who we are - Goddesses and Gods incarnate. So remember your Creator's gift to you by opening your heart through vulnerability and allow yourself to let go by feeling and experiencing your birthright as divine invulnerable beings. Integrating Heart Centered Hypnotherapy

Heart Centered Hypnotherapy is a natural fit in complimenting many other healing modalities. In and of itself, it is a powerful method to release the energy that keeps us blocked in many self-defeating patterns in our lives. This includes relationships, work situations, family dynamics, money issues, negative thought patterns, depression, anxiety, guilt, shame, fear, loneliness, addictions, and the list goes on and on. I say self-defeating because we end up attracting our unresolved issues over and over again until we release the energy from the source, or roots in childhood. Let me explain.

When we are children we are in a different developmental state than we are as adults. Many times we look back at certain childhood events as being silly or of no consequence because as adults we are in a different developmental place. As a result we are not capable of feeling empathy for our own inner child because we just do not understand. A simple event in childhood can create trauma in the child's eyes by eliciting fear, shame, guilt, and loneliness. Many other emotions spawn off from these but these are the four “biggy” dysfunctional emotions. Early events can get anchored in our neurotransmitters, which keep dumping the neuropeptides into our bodies that produce the same emotions and perceptions over and over again. In order to extinguish the dysfunctional emotions and change the results we need to release the energy and triggers from the original events in our childhoods so we can create a wider space where we can choose a healthier response and behavior. When we start doing this on a regular basis we start attracting different situations and people into our lives. The good news is that you are in total control during hypnotherapy and you will never do something you do not want to do or are not ready for. You are in control of your healing! I am just guiding and witnessing the process.

This is where the other approaches to personal growth and change integrate nicely with Heart Centered Hypnotherapy. In order to truly change and heal our issues and negative patterns we need to approach our growth through mind, body, and spirit, or through our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves. One of the other methods I employ is soul retrieval work, usually done during hypnotherapy, which energetically brings back soul fragments we have lost along our life's journey. I drum and take and guide patients on shamanic journeys to access their spirit guides and power animals so they can ask them questions and gain clarity on what direction to take to heal their problems. I also facilitate Heart Centered Breathwork which spontaneously regresses us back to childhood or to the birthing process to release old wounds and traumas that keep them stuck. I teach patients Holistic Integrative Breathing while I do a combination of energy work to release energy that no longer serves them. This helps restore balance and vitality to their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. I use body-centered psychotherapy at times which concentrates on the wisdom of the cellular memories in the patient's body. And finally I specialize in Quantum Leap Coaching which facilitates changes in one's negative or limiting thought systems.

There are many other techniques that compliment hypnotherapy well. Some of these for the physical body are massage, chiropractic, nutritional, herbal, and mindfulness meditation to name a few. Other methods for releasing emotional issues and unwanted belief systems are Psych K, the Sedona Method, Byron Katie's work, and the Essential Experience Workshop. With the mental and thought systems there are many different types of coaching that address and transform one's thoughts along with James Ray seminars, and empowerment trainings. And, there are many different options to broaden your spiritual horizon whether it is Buddhism, Hinduism, A Course in Miracles, The Way of Mastery, Yoga, Tai Chi, Taoism, or organized religion. The important thing is Heart Centered Hypnotherapy integrates well with all these approaches. I work with people in many different ways to address all pieces of the human species puzzle - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Finally if I'm not able to provide what a person needs, I do my best to find specifically what they need and refer them to the appropriate practitioner, group, or seminar.

Once again, there are no quick fixes, but hypnotherapy is a great place to start and build upon. The foundation allows for organic integration and enhancement of other methods to provide truly holistic healing. I've come to the conclusion from my three-year hypnotherapy internship that it's one of the most integrative, effective, insightful, intense, and heartfelt approaches in which I've ever been trained. Be courageous, self-loving, and change your self-defeating patterns. You deserve to give yourself the gift of Heart Centered Hypnotherapy.
