I have a new FREE section called “Manifesting Community Cooperation Network” on the home page. This is a different type of link service. Organizations and individuals with similar visions of community cooperation will be invited to submit their websites, purpose, vision, and mission to me for dialogue and feedback. My mission, vision, and purpose have been updated to reflect this link service. The main premise is non-competition and cooperation. This paradigm of promoting everyone is essential to be part of this network. Abundance rules, scarcity fools!

I also have a manual self-posting FREE links page called “Holistic Community Circle Links” like the Manifesting Community Listings. Links can now be posted manually. You will need to have an operating website to be able to add your link and description to the links page. On the manual links page there will be a copy of my link that I request you add to your links page on your website. This helps by moving all of us up the list in the search engines. This will help to keep the links page up to date as everyone who adds his or her link is responsible to keep it up to date. If something changes you will need to re-submit your link and description and email me to delete your old link and description.

The FREE Manifesting Community Listings are separated by dated, ongoing, and classified listings. Directions are on my website and on this newsletter. This provides more control over where listings should go and allows people to enter listings all the time. You will need to put an end date on the event if it is ongoing or classified and then re-enter the listing when it expires. All listings will be automatically deleted as dates pass by and updated as new dates are added. All events will be in date chronological order.

There will be a featured article every month that will be different from my articles in Yoga Living Magazine. Please offer me feedback and dialogue on any of my articles and Professional Messages! Many of my articles and professional messages are an extension of what is going on with me Manifesting Community in the Philadelphia area. Who Wants To Be A Part Of Personal Growth Alternatives: A Holistic Educational, Spiritual, And Healing Community Center?  

We're looking for like-minded people with open hearts and high vibrational energy who resonate with the purpose and vision statements below! These statements are being revised at the Vision, Mission, and Purpose Committee Meeting September 23, 2007.

PURPOSE/MISSION STATEMENT

To extend Love through the holistic paradigm of mind, body, and spirit. We continuously and endlessly concentrate and focus on healing the whole person, whole organization, whole community, and whole world, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We challenge ourselves and each other to maximize our human and spiritual potential through giving and receiving healthy feedback, coaching, cooperation, nurturance, intimacy, support, forgiveness, and compassion with and between the center's staff, partners, members, clients, patients, and community.

VISION STATEMENT

We are a holistic educational, spiritual, and healing community center.  

We create and hold a safe spiritual and sacred space where intimacy, connection, and re-awakening flourish within the center and community. We provide holistic healing, education, integrated spirituality, and community through a diverse array of classes, programs, support groups, and events. We partner with other centers and organizations in creating a new paradigm web of non-competition and promotion of everyone! We practice, model, and teach this successful abundant financial transformative paradigm with all individuals, cultures, businesses, and organizations worldwide.  

We model and promote abundance, prosperity, gratitude, cooperation, peace, collaboration, consensus, inclusion, empowered humility, diversity, social justice, equality, holistic integration, joy, and having fun! We model environmental sustainability through our green building and environmentally conscious decisions. The for-profit part of our center is a cooperative economic partnership with a horizontal organizational structure. The non-profit part of our center provides opportunities for grant funding and other services to offer and extend into the community and financially challenged populations. Everything we do as a center is an extension of Love!  

In alignment with the holistic model practiced by our center, we serve the diversity of all of humanity and organizational structures. This includes all profit and non-profit businesses and organizations, cultures, ages, races, genders, lifestyles, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, psychological, mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual/religious or political affiliation. We are all inclusive with respect to whom we serve!  

We manifest our vision through extending Love, forgiveness, compassion, and peace while experiencing and respecting the commonality and oneness of all life, energy, and consciousness. The results of our vision manifest through the brightness of everyone's light and re-experiencing ourselves as the Love we are!

We are moving forward with more structure and energy. This is for practitioners or anybody else interested in potentially becoming a part of Personal Growth Alternatives: A Holistic Educational, Spiritual, And Healing Community Center to be located somewhere in the Philadelphia area in 2008. As I have shared in many newsletters, I am looking for committed healers who share in my vision. My intention is to find a core group of people (3-5), to create and manifest the beginnings of a holistic educational, spiritual, healing community center in the Philadelphia area. Presently, that area is pretty broad. But from an environmental viewpoint it must be located at or near public transportation and not require people to drive a long distance. As more people share their ideas and intentions with me, it will become clearer where to look for space. Much of this year will be fact-finding and mindstorming, with the intent of moving into a space later in 2008. I am welcoming all interested people and practitioners for an open dialogue until a core group organically manifests itself. Commitment of vision, mission, and purpose is of paramount importance. We are not just sharing space and I am not just a landlord renting space out. So this is an intimate process of getting to know one another.

This is a community-oriented project. The core group should be able to work together in healing and educating clients through emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and energetic approaches. We will truly focus on mind, body, and spirit. More specifically I am looking for holistic practitioners in the following categories: chiropractors, psychologists, psychiatrists, naturopaths, psychotherapists, nutritionalists, energy workers, acupuncturists, coaches, addiction counselors, attorneys, CPA's/financial advisors, grant writers, fund raisers, philanthropists, etc. This is by no means an exhaustive list. All are welcome for consideration. 

I am currently thinking of the center being a combination of profit and non-profit. I don't specifically know what that would look like yet but given our state of economic complexities, having both entities may be the most flexible way to go especially if the non-profit sector happens to be partially or fully grant funded. All options are being left open until more clarity of possibilities are explored. If any of you have experience in the non-profit/profit arena your input would be greatly appreciated.

You do not need to be a practitioner to participate in this process. I need to hear from as many people as possible. All voices are important! Professional Message

This summer's professional message is about letting go and allowing what needs to show up in our lives. This does not mean complacency. It means putting our intent and energy out there with planning and goals but then letting go of the outcome. If the universe is giving us the message that something is or is not going to happen then go with that energy. Do not resist that which is not going to serve you. Listen to the messages that are being sent your way. Even if it seems as though there is no other option. When we let go of what we are attached to it creates a space for something else to show up. This is indeed a major lesson in trust. We must trust that we can create something anew when all seems lost. We have to trust that the universe is leading us toward something different and ultimately more in alignment with our purpose. We must learn to trust ourselves!

Many times this may mean doing things that other people do not agree with. Remember, that is their problem not yours. When we trust ourselves we follow our own intuition and guidance. Surround yourself with supportive people who trust and support your internal compass. Sometimes we must experience loss to experience gain. It can be difficult to stand in that space of I don't know what to do. But it is in this space that we are guided toward the answer. Trust the process. Trust the universe. But most importantly Trust Yourself! Know that you will create anew when you reach I don't know!! That is Divine Wisdom supporting you.

Letting Go Of What We Planned: Surrender And Trust

Letting go is tough! It has many layers of illusion and many lessons along the way. Let me elaborate from my own experiences over the last several months. I have always been a planner. I work hard and put the energy forth to manifest my intentions. However, I have by no means mastered the art of letting go of the outcome. I frequently have my own version of how things should turn out after I plan and put my energy in motion. This is a recipe for frustration, disappointment, entrapment, loss of self-confidence, and fear. The answer is to surrender and trust, two concepts that sometimes elicit more fear of the unknown for me.

I have planned a lot in the last year. I have also gone through some of life's biggest stressors including, the loss of my four year relationship with Andrea, the rapid declining of my parents health including several hospitalizations and my 80 year old mother having a double bypass, my brother in and out of the hospital since his liver transplant, double bypass, failed kidneys, failing spleen, diabetes, several blood and staff infections, and irreversible advanced coronary heart disease, and my father's increased difficulty walking, frequent falling, and advancing dementia from his past strokes. In addition, I have been called upon to help out with all of these health crises, which never seem to end. This has resulted in me not taking care of myself like I have been accustomed to, and putting my plans for my business and community on the backburner as I have finally realized that I am not superman. I am Christ Shiva Das, but I am not superman. One is of spirit and the other is of the human ego. I came to this realization after I put an offer in on a triplex house in Conshohocken as an investment and for my residence and business. Suffice it to say that the bizarre has happened as I came to an agreement on price, signed the contract, and was then told three days later that the seller could not sign the contract because the Boro of Conshohocken had not approved the use and occupancy codes of the building. As a result, I am in limbo. There are no other properties at this time that even come close to meeting my needs. So I have surrendered. My ego has been popped like a zit. All the great planning that I have done will take me to another outcome. The hard part for me is trusting that the new outcome will serve me better, that the universe has a better plan for me.

In my overwhelmed state, I overlooked the key piece of the manifestation process and that is letting go of the outcome and trusting the process. I have decided to do first things first and get myself aligned with spirit again and put myself first. Another important part of the manifestation process that I teach that can elude us in times of challenges is the emotional energy that is necessary to manifest our thoughts and intentions. Many times this can become a self-fulfilling prophecy when we are in emotions of fear. If we are going through a difficult time emotionally and trying to manifest our dreams and desires at the same time, it becomes challenging to feel the positive joyous emotions over the painful lessons that we have attracted into our lives for healing. Now this does not mean that we are supposed to be in denial of our feelings and ignore the life lessons the universe presents to us, but it does mean that we need to not get all consumed by our pain and put up emotional boundaries with ourselves. For me this means feeling all the family stuff that has been served up for healing and then allowing myself to feel the joy of continuing to manifest my hearts desires while still taking care of myself. That is ultimately one of my life lessons and a big dynamic that I need to heal in my family of origin. It is healing just to share this with you.

In closing, I want you all to know that I just took four days down in Ocean City, NJ just for me. I did very little work and allowed myself to just be. I am learning to let go and trust that my plans are working out perfectly for me. I am surrendering to my true self, Christ Shiva Das, and awakening to the arrogance and absurdity of trying to control the uncontrollable. I am also surrendering to the lessons that have been sent my way. It's time to learn so I can truly manifest and extend the Love that I am. I invite you all to join with me in this process. This is an initiation that I must go through in order to be the best leader and teacher that I can be. As I learn this my ego reluctantly realizes that I will always be a student and that control and attachment are futile and not of Spirit. So let's all celebrate our humanness so we can get on with the humility and responsibility of remembering the Gods and Goddesses we all are and have always been. God Bless!
