MISSION/PURPOSE STATEMENT
Everything we do as a Center is an extension of Love! We are a diverse group of professionals providing a variety of educational, spiritual, and healing modalities and services to the community. We are inclusive of many various occupations that embrace our vision, mission, and values. We are a multifaceted community events facility providing what is wanted and needed by continuously monitoring the needs of our community and our world! We are an inclusive peace center. We are standing tall for our success in attracting, gathering, and harmonizing all diverse communities to our center for collaboration during this critical time as a species as we come to a crucial crossroads of choosing between Spirit (peace) or material (destruction).
We model environmental sustainability through our green building (carbon neutral) and environmentally conscious decisions. The for-profit arm of our center is a cooperative economic partnership with a horizontal organizational structure. This manifests as different types of memberships and ownership shares. The non-profit arm of our center provides opportunities for grant funding that offer services to address financially challenged populations and further extend services into the needs of the community. The combination for-profit/non-profit provides a win-win scenario for all members, practitioners, businesses, organizations, people, groups, and communities.
We model healthy communication and conflict resolution through our staff, volunteers, partnerships, participants, and community interactions. We take responsibility for creating and manifesting our moment by moment experiences as lessons we attract and continuously do our personal and group work in letting go of any and all of our projections and history that is other than Love.
We are moving forward with more structure and energy. As I have shared in many newsletters, I am looking for committed change agents who share in my vision. My intention is to find a core group of people (3-5), to create and manifest the beginnings of a holistic educational, spiritual, healing community center in the Philadelphia area. Presently, that area is pretty broad. But from an environmental viewpoint it must be located at or near public transportation and not require people to drive a long distance. As more people share their ideas and intentions with me, it will become clearer where to look for space. Much of this year will be fact-finding and mindstorming, with the intent of moving into a space later in 2008. I am welcoming all interested people and practitioners for an open dialogue until a core group organically manifests itself. Commitment of vision, mission, and purpose is of paramount importance. We are not just sharing space and I am not just a landlord renting space out. So this is an intimate process of getting to know one another.
This is a community-oriented project. The core group should be able to work together in healing and educating clients through emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and energetic approaches. We will truly focus on mind, body, and spirit. More specifically I am looking for holistic practitioners in the following categories: community leaders, educators, chiropractors, psychologists, psychiatrists, naturopaths, psychotherapists, nutritionalists, energy workers, acupuncturists, coaches, addiction counselors, attorneys, CPA’s/financial advisors, grant writers, fund raisers, philanthropists, etc. This is by no means an exhaustive list. All are welcome for consideration.
I am currently thinking of the center being a combination of profit and non-profit. I don’t specifically know what that would look like yet but given our state of economic complexities, having both entities may be the most flexible way to go especially if the non-profit sector happens to be partially or fully grant funded. All options are being left open until more clarity of possibilities are explored. If any of you have experience in the non-profit/profit arena your input would be greatly appreciated.

You do not need to have an interest in being directly involved in the center to participate in this process. I need to hear from as many people as possible. All voices are important! Riding the Waves
Who likes to ride the waves? Sounds like fun huh? Your enthusiasm may drop off a bit however if the waves are not of the ocean but rather of emotions and energy. Both are inextricably linked. Emotions are energy in motion. I have found that the waves of energy in the world and universe have been intense lately. As a result I have been much more emotional and yet surprisingly more clear. Let me explain.
I believe that much of the turmoil in the world today is the result of changing vibrations and energies in the universe and their effect on planet earth and her inhabitants. I also experience this as being a positive shift to a higher consciousness level. However, our physical bodies and our human frequencies on the earth plane are not used to these new energies. As a result, this causes many emotional shifts, especially for energy sensitive people, healers, meditators, and people that are in touch with their inner selves. For more unaware people it can show up as erratic behavior or perhaps trying to hold onto the status quo for fear of losing control and the unknown. In addition, if you refer to my professional message, the astrological alignments have been providing challenging energies for us too! The clarity is showing up because we are getting sick and tired of being sick and tired. Thus, we are accessing our truth like a lead sledgehammer on the side of the head!
So what does all this mean? I believe it means that it is time to come together. It is time to become a cohesive, peaceful, and loving earth community. We are entering both interesting and fragile times. Interesting in that we are about to witness a profound change of consciousness with humanity. Fragile because change is not met with welcome arms by the status quo and is new and unfamiliar even with the most aware of us. This shift will require trust, intuition, and Love to navigate through the murky waters of change. That is exactly why we need each other. This is not time to isolate, to try to do it alone. We need everyone.
For years I have been teaching people to Love themselves first and if you end up alone then so be it. I am changing my tune on that a bit as I am realizing the energy that will be required to show up fully for this human consciousness-changing event. We need to be focused. We need support. And many of us will need special partners and partnerships to wield the energy necessary to hold the light and ride the waves! I’m talking Sacred Relationship here. I’m talking deep connection, and similar frequencies so we can plug into each other with Spirit to increase the wattage of the light of Love. I’m getting the message that this will be necessary. Once again, this is no time to go it alone. It’s time to wake up, do what is necessary, and turn on the light. We are stronger when we join!
At the same time this will be a challenge for many of us who have not healed enough of our family of origin issues, past lives, and ultimately the lessons we are supposed to learn in this lifetime. For many of us who have become attuned to energy and spiritual work we may find ourselves more discriminatory as to whom we are attracted to. I cannot emphasize strongly enough that we must not settle in relationship, for we have been settling far too long in many other areas of humanity that require honest intuitive integrity. It is time to ask for what we want! It is time to take a stand! It is time to join with partners that are spiritual warriors like ourselves. It is time to celebrate our like energies with each other. It is time to clear out what no longer serves us and listen to the calling.
Briefly before closing I would like to share an experience I had which I will never forget and was life changing for me. A Godddess came into my life out of nowhere. I knew intuitively that she was different. I also knew that our energies were compatible. I knew this by her aroma. I knew this by her voice. I knew this by her eyes. I knew thi s because she i s fun to be with. I knew this because I could sense her vibration. And, I knew this because I could just be me without even thinking of being otherwise. No small feat as this has always been a difficult energetic gap for me to bridge. For the first time in my life I experienced energetically what has been the missing ingredient in my past relationships. Unfortunately, current circumstances make it difficult to pursue a healthy committed relationship with each other. The gift is that I am clear what I need for a deep energetic tantric connection. The hope is that I will find that again with her or another Goddess. In the last three months I have gained clarity that I am tired of being single and doing everything myself. I also know that what I do in the world and community takes energy and resolve. I want to come home to the support of someone on the same path. I know my work and influence in extending Love to the community and the world would be brightened by riding the waves in Sacred Relationship.
I’m ready to accept the challenge of guiding humanity as a lightworker. I’m also asking for what I want and asking for your support. We all need to do this and join together on all levels. Change is happening as I speak. Let us guide this higher consciousness shift with the least amount of fear as possible. Let us all remember that Love is who we are and we are all one. And in Love’s experience, we can shapeshift the dream to whatever we want. How about peace and Love? Will you join me?

Professional Message
We are leaving Mars retrograde and entering Mercury retrograde. What this means is that we have been going through a very challenging period especially for family of origin issues since early November. As we move into another Mercury retrograde know that by the end of February things should start to ease up. I don’t know about you but my life has been very emotionally challenging since early November with three family deaths and major childhood dynamics showing up again in my life for healing. I’m sure I am not alone in this. Please be gentle and compassionate with yourself as we move through these difficult yet transformative times. This is a golden opportunity to finally heal those old and nagging family issues.
Her are some suggestions: treat yourself to a massage, take a vacation, get some energy work done on you, take a course or workshop that interests you, go to a spa, get a facial, go skiing, etc. This is also a time to be reflective and clean out some inner dust. Maybe journaling will be beneficial. Whatever you do just remember that this too shall pass and you will be stronger because of it. Take care and really Love yourself this February. Valentines day is not just for couples. It is for us singles too who have to be reminded so many times to Love ourselves!

The Vision, Mission, and Purpose Statements will be the energy and driving force which will take us to the next level in the creation and manifestation process within the committees during 2008. We will be engaging in an experiential exercise each meeting to connect our energies together with Spirit. A listserve has also been created for us to communicate with each other between meetings. One important piece of information: Cuddle Party workshops start and end on time. There is a component of the workshop called The Welcome Circle that sets the stage for the flow of the rest of the afternoon. Since part of the workshop is about communication and boundary setting, I am putting this out there now, so that all present will feel respected and there is no misunderstanding.
